Surfing and Activities

Here you can find a suitable week for you. From a complete surf course to a week full of different activities. You have 3 options to choose: one week of surfing classes, 1 week with accomodation and coasteering sessions or our total adventure pack that includes a all week full of adrenaline.

PACK 1 – SURF CLASSES 4 ALL

PH surfschool as a different way of dealing with surfing lessons. We offer you a unique surfing experience in a safe and friendly environment. Our classes are based in the thought that every human being is different. Considering that, our classes are personal and we never take more than 8 people into the water. This makes the difference!!

Our trainers believe that only with fully personalized classes you can improve your surfing and start to have real fun.

Surfing with PH surf school allows surfers to escape the masses and really enjoy the surfing experience.

It’s our believe that surfing is more than an extreme sport, it is a way of living. With our classes you´ll learn also about this kind of live, the love and respect for nature as well as the love and respect for others.

We will introduce you the Ocean and the waves  in a way that in the end of the sessions you´ll be looking at is dangers and virtues in a different way.
At our surf school, we offer professional surfing coaches qualified with Portuguese Surfing Federation.

PACK 2 – COASTEERING PENICHE

Coasteering

Coasteering is a recent activity in Portugal. It is practiced along the coast, by walking, climbing, swimming and jumping to the water.

This activity allows the discovering of scenarios and corners which are impossible to glare.

Length – Coasteering sessions have a length of 3hours and 30minutes with a theoretical initial part at the hostel, where the atmospheric conditions and the security rules will be analyzed.

Depending on the wind and the tide, it follows the transport from the hostel until the chosen place (Circuit North or Circuit South). This activity is practiced with 4 people minimum and 8 people maximum per instructor.

Instructors – All the coasteering instructors have lifeguard and first aid course.

What to bring – Towel, old shoes able to get wet, swimwear, warm clothes to wear after the session, shorts to wear above the wetsuit and sunscreen.

What we give – wetsuit, helmet, life preserver, warm drink, personal accident insurance, monitoring by the instructors and lots of emotion!

The circuits : South Circuit – entrance by S. Pedro beach, near the fortress and exit near the Cortiçais.

North Circuit – entrance by Quebrado beach and exit near the Papôa’s bridge.

Difficulty levels

Blue Line – Ideal conditions for the activity practice with calm wind and waters. Possibility to explore some caves.

White Line – Ripple of 1,5 meters, foam and lots of action. The main request is to be a good swimmer.

Flat Line – Longer journey with calm conditions. Possibility to explore some caves and jumping to the water.

Minimum age: 8 years old.

Length of the session – 3 hours and 30 minutes.

PACK 3 – TOTAL ADVENTURE

If you´re looking for adventure and different activities for your vacations we propose you our Total Adventure Package. In a week you will try different emotions, from surfclasses to our tour along the coast in the water. At the end of the day be delight with a good barbeque at the beach with local people. All the activities and days off will be discussed with the group at your arrival. Our goal is that you have lots of fun and an unforgettable vacations with us.
