PH Backpackers
Peniche Hostel it’s a place for all backpackers, surfers, people travelling alone or in small groups.
Totally renovated in the late 90´s, is composed of 2 mixed dorm rooms for 4 guests each and 3 double rooms, a fully equipped kitchen and two shared bathrooms.
It allows travellers to have a good night’s sleep, to prepare their own meals, to do the laundry etc.
We have a nice lounge where you can enjoy a DVD or simply relax in the company of a good book. We also offer you 24 hours free internet, surfboards and bicycles to rent.
Our rooms are decorated with diferent continent themes: Above there is some pictures of Asia Room, a double for a couple or two friends. The beds can be appart or togheter.
You can check now our less expensive double room. its a room full of objects related with the South America culture. Its a room without a window for the exterior wich makes it very good for those who like to sleep late.
The pictures below shows the dorms. At PH we have 2 dorms
- Africa: sleeps 4. Its a room with lots of light and a balcony to the municipal garden. It is decorated with pictures taken in trips to Africa. The candelabre was the first shoping we made to the hostel.
- Oceania, sleeps 4 ( the cheapest room without outside window)Its the perfect room for those whi like to sleep late. Because is a inner room you´ll never hear the noise from the outside.
- PH is a small boutique hostel, known for being one of the most familiar hostel in Portugal. Our lounge and small yard are very cosy and makes this hostel experiencie a true warming one. This small corners in our hostel are perfect to know peolpe and to share your experiences.
Our central location makes it easy to access the nearby beaches or take fabulous strolls along the coastline. You can also enjoy the nearby gardens, the historic XIV century fortress, small churches and ancient buildings all over town.
We are also close to night life activities, bars and restaurants.
Being at Peniche downtown makes you be in contact with real Portuguese culture.
Getting here
We can arrange to pick you up at the airport (90€ to 6 people and 10€ for adicional person ). If you wish us to do so please confirm your travel details 2/3 days before your arrival.
If you choose public transport, pick up a taxi from the airport to the bus station Sete Rios (aprox. 10 €) then get a bus to Peniche (1h45m, 7€).
When you arrive at Peniche find the tourism office just inside the city wall, or contact us (00351 969 008 689). Peniche Hostel is very near the tourism office, at Rua (street) Arquitecto Paulino Montês n.º 6 – 1.º floor.
